Weekends come and weekends go!

Come to think of it there are not many weekends left in this year and this one just gone was relatively quiet for me in terms of staying sober or thereabouts.
I worked on Saturday afternoon. I had to take a load of freight up to Clermont so that there would be plenty of room on the truck that went up at 3am this morning for the mail. It was a good thing I did too, because there was 16 cages of mail to go and that means it would take up about 8 spots on the truck and only left 4 for freight.
On Sunday, Speedy and I went and had a look at the unit we will be moving into in about 2 or 3 weeks time. It is not big but at least we will have separate bedrooms as it is a 2 bedder. I just need to plan everything out now but it would appear that the garage will either become the lounge room or an entertainment area and the lounge room will become the computer room. Both bedrooms are air conned so that will keep Speedy happy … me? well it wont worry me either way as I can live without aircons.
Leo turned up twice yesterday so I took advantage of his first trip by helping load his BBQ and chair onto the ute so he could take them back to Springsure with him. That’s 2 less thing’s that we have to move when we leave here. lol

Next weekend I will be moving house … just gotta love moving (NOT!!!)
Of course, moving house will mean not having the internet connected for a couple of weeks which in turn will mean having some peace and quiet to reflect on life hahahaha
This is the last weekend in this residence as next weekend we move.
The phone will be disconnected here on friday and reconnected at the new place but it will take about 10 days for the internet to be reconnected after the move.
From tomorrow, friday 12th, I will be offline for around two weeks while the internet service is transferred to my new address.
Why out illustrious telecommunications giant can transfer a phone connection in minutes and not transfer the internet at the same time is absolutely beyond me.
Anyway, it will give me a lot more time to get things organised in the new place so I suppose in that regard it will be a blessing in disguise.
In the event that I am not reconnected by christmas, then I will take this opportunity to wish all readers a very happy festive season for 2008 and hope you all stay safe.
I have finished moving house and have already had the internet reconnected so I am back online.
Still got some clearing out to do though and that will more than likely take place over the Christmas break.
Well the 4 day Christmas break is over and I managed to sort through quite a bit of stuff and throw it out.
My flat mate moved out on Boxing day so I am now looking for a new person to help out with the rent payments.
